The Catalogue of Cats lists 1,000 cats available to order. Fulfilment is contracted to the Cat Delivery System, which operates one depot and no functioning process. The cargo was not consulted and would not have agreed.
Each order is assigned a tracking number, photographed at 32 by 32 pixels, and dispatched. Three have arrived on time. That figure is not expected to improve.
The catalogue is generated from a single seed — CATALOGUE-v1 — across 11 trait layers. Feed the generator that seed and you get the same 1,000 cats, in the same order, byte for byte identical.
This is not a technicality. It means the manifest cannot be quietly rerolled to favour anyone, and every claim about scarcity on this site can be checked by re-running the generator yourself.
Royalties are set to 0% on-chain. Not "0% for now", not "0% where marketplaces choose to honour it" — zero, written into the collection.
The consequence is deliberate: once your parcel is delivered, we earn nothing from it changing hands again. Resell it as often as you like and keep the difference.
Holding $CTLG at the postage rate summons a delivery attempt: the Cat Delivery System dispatches one random cat to the holding wallet, and the parcel spends 7 days in transit. Stay above the line for the whole journey and it arrives; sell below it and the parcel is returned to the depot, where climbing back above the rate restarts the clock. Funded out of trading fees, one parcel per address, ever. That is the entire relationship, and it points in one direction only.
It does not run backwards. Owning a cat pays nothing, yields nothing, and entitles you to no tokens — implying otherwise would mean pretending a picture of a cat is an income stream, and the only thing a cat has ever generated is fur.
This is Issue No. 1 of the catalogue: a thousand cats. There are, by most estimates, six hundred million cats in the world, so further issues are planned — the Cat Delivery System intends to keep delivering, slowly, for a very long time. That is the entire roadmap.
There is no staking, no game, no metaverse depot, and no utility unlock scheduled for Q3. Promising those things is how projects buy time they have not earned. What exists is what you see: cats, a website, a delivery system that mostly does not deliver, and a token that is a joke about cats.
The Cat Delivery System is not liable for: knocked-over glassware, occupied laptops, doors held permanently ajar, 03:00 screaming, leaves brought indoors, or any box you were intending to use for something else.
By accepting delivery you acknowledge that the parcel now owns the box, the chair, and increasingly the house.
