This is a mail-order catalogue. 1,000 cats, each with a number, each delivered exactly once. There are two ways to get one. Hold $CTLG at the postage rate — the depot checks every holder, every minute — and a parcel is dispatched to your wallet; it arrives after 7 days in transit, provided you hold above the line the whole way. Or skip the queue and order one directly. One parcel per address, ever. Either way, fulfilment is contracted out to the Cat Delivery System, at which point it stops being our problem.
Every cat therefore arrives with paperwork: a tracking number, a dispatch date, a depot bay, a last confirmed location, handling instructions nobody follows, and a note from a courier who has stopped pretending this is going well.
The art is generated from a seeded trait system — eleven layers, over a hundred variants, one deterministic seed. Run the generator twice and you get the same cats, byte for byte.
